All About Cherry

Magdalene Cherry is an actress, writer, and multidisciplinary artist from Dallas, Texas based out of Los Angeles, California.

Magdalene earned her BFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts. Her CalArts theatrical credits include: The Death of Walt Disney (Walt Disney), Men on Boats (Dunn), Roberto Zucco (The Sister), Acts of Afra (Diocletian), and The Great Gatsby (Myrtle Wilson).

This past year, Magdalene was nominated for Broadway World’s Best Actor in a Play in Los Angeles for her performance of Jack Skelley in Fear of Kathy Acker. She has starred in film series with ReelShort and GoodShorts, video game commercials for Rise of Kingdoms, and several independent feature films to be released later this year.

When Magdalene is not on set, teaching young actors, writing a play, or working on her next audition, you can probably find her at the beach, on her skateboard, or writing poetry mountainside.
